A comprehensive leadership training program aimed at producing great transportation leaders has been developed by The Connecticut Transportation Institute’s Techology Transfer Center (T2 Center). The Transportation Leadership Program is a training program focused on building skills that will help municipal and state transportation officals become better presenters, communicators and supervisors; empowering them to successfully lead their agencies into the future. The eight module program was developed in conjunction with a municipal workgroup and in response to requests from local agencies. It includes topics such as conducting performance evaluations, developing teamwork and communications, conflict resolution, presentation skills and succession planning.

The first cohort of leaders has been selected and classes will begin this Spring. To learn more about this and other programs that are offered by the T2 Center, visit the website at www.t2center.uconn.edu.
