Engineering Ambassadors Reach Out to Students

Over 100 children from the Windham School District in Connecticut, among the most underserved communities in the state, visited UConn Saturday, February 4th for a singular “Explore Science and Engineering Day” that immersed them in a range of fun learning activities aimed at expanding their awareness of STEM subjects. Throughout the day, they were mentored by undergraduate Engineering Ambassadors and members of the Nutmeg Big Brothers Big Sisters organization.
